GoogleBar is adware and Spyware
There were detection of googlebar installed on your Internet Explorer! Latest GoogleBar is SPYWARE, adware, a pest you should get rid of and use some alternative tool.
Googlebar used to be nice and useful tool with it's popup blocking feature. But now, in it's latest version with "autolink" feature, it has turned to a spyware, or more apropriately, a ADWARE!
Why, you might ask. Well, now googlebar INJECTS links to web pages. It modifies copyrighted content.
Here is "simple" example HOW googlebar modifies COPYRIGHTED website content.

By clicking autolink on toolbar, ISBN above should be selected, and turned into a "autolink", a hyperlink to some destination google thinks to be apropriate.
If this "autolink" feature expands to insert links into a normal keywords/content of a web page, not ANY webmaster can be sure where THEIR web pages link to when user views webpage with system that has googlebar installed.
Microsoft tried this same thing, with their "smart tags" and failed, now google is trying same thing. It's shameful how google is injecting links to COPYRIGHTED content of a web page.
This "new" feature is pretty much same as google would force every website owner put their adword advertisements to web pages, FREELY!"
Here's other example of HOW, now spyware, googlebar modifies content of a website.
I have marked proof with red arrow. Screen capture is from Barnes and Noble website, and as you see, googlebar injects hyperlink to a page if you press autolink button. Hyperlink, funny enough, points to a competiting website - AMAZON - and there to a info about same book.

So, webmasters do all the hard work providing content, and now google plans to reap all rewards from it injecting links to web pages
Imagine if you would run small website that would concentrate for, say, book review. YOu would have affiliate links to earn maybe some little income with your pages, and google goes and adds links to your page, that are (after redirection by google) pointing to amazon website! Fun huh? You made all the work, google abuses it and uses your content!
SHAME ON YOU GOOGLE! And shame on you those people inside google that are behind this mad idea!
I suggest you GET rid of googlebar, because it is now nothign but a spyware - an adware pest!
Here are some alternatives for it that block popups.
YAHOO toolbar or MSN toolbar.I never thought I would suggest anyone to use MSN utilitys but that day has come because of google and their idiocy.
