23rd December In November it was clear that Keeshond Niki is again the best Kees male in Finland. It was the sixth time in a row. To the winner dog show we entered just Niki (after five months show break) and he became Winner-08!

22th October Today was time for eye and knee examination. We had seven own bred dogs with us: Aurinkoniityn Adalmiina, Alokas, Saaga, Safiiri, Samsara, Sarina and Salamanteri. All of the dogs were having 0/0 knees (which are the best) and O.K. eyes.

26th - 28th September We were having a Husky meeting in Jämijärvi. We had our BIG tent with us and there we six people staying over night.

20th - 21st September We were having a Siberian Husky special show. There were 196 Huskies entered. In Finland it´s used to be so that males are on Saturday and bitches on Sunday. The judge was Pekka Teini and we had entered just our Samsara. She was fourth best in her class with "very good". There were 11 dogs in her class. I handled also few other dogs there. 16th September Keeshond Allu´s (A Ajaton) x ray results came from The Kennelclub: hips C/C and elbows 0/0.

13th September Keeshond Reino (Valindale Keep The Faith) started his show career with fine results: he was third best male and best junior.

9th September A while ago we took an allergy test from Ada and now we have the results: she is unfortunately allergic to many different type of grasses. So we are in the same situation as few years ago: we don´t have a Keeshond bitch to continue our breeding. :(

1st September Niki´s Kittihof´s "puppies" have been x rayed, Carmen: hips A/A and elbows 0/0, Chiquitita: B/B and 0/0, Cluedo A/A and 0/0, CONGRATULATIONS!

We were having a nice weekend with Keeshond people. There we could also start Husky training because we now have the "four-wheel" training vehicle.

3rd August We have not time to be in so many places, so we sent our dogs to have massage course. ;) They needed to have dogs to massage course so our Esikko and Bella went to have fun. Thanks to Sandra for massage!

3rd August "Our" Allu (Ajaton) visited a dog show after summer holiday with fine results: second best male, CAC and RES CACIB which is going to be confirmed as CACIB, CONGRATULATIONS!

6th July It was time for our first World Winner dog show. We took to ring two dogs and both got a new title: Inka her first title JWW-08 and Niki WW-08! Little problems had we here also.. missed the CAC ring with Inka. She was happily sleeping beside Keeshond ring at that time. ;) Own mistake to have two breeds. Inka was also BOB Junior.

29th June Both Inka (Husky) and Niki (Kees) BOB, Niki also BIG and BIS3! Thanks to many people helping us in ring!

14th June Niki´s son Chagall (Kittihof´s Chagall) got his second Swedish CAC. CONGRATULATIONS!

7th June Today was the show in Pieksämäki: Aralia was third best bitch and got her second CAC! CONGRATULATIONS to Katja and Kolehmainens! Niki BOB.

26th May First of our breeding has been x rayed: Aralia´s hips C/C, elbows 0/0 and knees 0/0 (knees not x rayed)

25th May Niki was in Hamina: BOB, BIG and BIS3!

24th May Niki BOB and BIG2 in Helsinki! Niki´s children Cluedo and Chiquitita became champions in Sweden. Cluedo is now both Swedish and Finnish champion and Chiqitita Swedish champion, CONGRATULATIONS!

18th May Joensuu: Ada´s father Puffen (Kittihof´s Ur O Skur) got his Finnish CAC and became a champion, CONGRATULATIONS! Our little Inka (9 months old) was BOB and BIG2!

17th May Niki BOB and BIG2 in Joensuu! Reino (Valindale Keep The Faith) began his show practising today. He visited puppy show and behaved very well in the show ring and got HP and was second best male puppy, WELL done Virpi & CO!

11th May Rauma: Niki´s son Cluedo (Kittihof´s Cluedo) got Finnish CAC, CONGRATULATIONS! Niki BOB, BIG and BIS2!!! Inka began her official shows yesterday in Turenki: second best bitch and now in Rauma best bitch and CAC!!!

4th May Inka´s last (and totally second) puppy show was today. It went well: BOB and BIG3! And she behaved again so well!

3rd May Now everyone of our Kees puppies have been tested for PHPT: all negative.

25th April It has come problems with Nala´s joints. Now we prove with Cartrophen and if it doesn´t help it´s time for last journey.

20th April Aurinkoniityn Sarina (Siberian Husky) participated today in cart race. WELL done "girls"! Keep on good work.

16th April Aurinkoniityn Albatrossi moved to live in Sweden.

5th April It was a time for our annual Keeshond specialty show. The judge was Elina Tan-Hietalahti. "Our" results: Niki second best male, Allu second in his class with "very good", Rossi third in his class with" very good", Ara second in her class with "very good" and BEST COAT and Niki´s daughter Neppe third in her class with "very good"!!!

2nd April There is a disease called PHPT and Keeshonden can have it. Luckily there is a gen test to check whether the dog is having it or not. Our dog Ikurin Nota Bene and bitch Aurinkoniityn Adalmiina went through the test and are both negative. Also our breeding Ajaton and Aralia were both negative.

2nd April FINALLY: we got a Keeshond puppy abroad. We have been so unlucky with many plans so it´s really a dream come true.The puppy page in here.

30th March Niki in a group show (meaning that there were not all breeds) BIS!!!

22nd March Inka went to her first dog show. It was a puppy show and she behaved soooo well and was also placed BIG2. :)

15th March It was time for Tampere dog show. Niki was BOB (and Fasu BOS) and got The Rhinevale Trophy for one year. The judge kept saying in the Best Of Breed class: "faster, faster".. don´t know if it was a running competition or... ;)

After the Keeshond ring we were having our annual meeting and we got some challenge trophies.

6th March Finally we were able to go to Crufts. We were having Niki, Fasu and Nala with us. We didn´t enter Nala to the dog show. Niki was placed 4/11 in his class. And Fasu got the whole package, being BOB! Congratulations Fasu and the owners!!

24th February Niki visited a dog show again and the result was BIG2! And our breeding: Allu third best dog and Ara got "very good".

21st February Niki´s daughter Neppe was here four days while her family was having their holiday abroad. We had such a nice time with her.

9th February Niki participated in Champion of Champions competition and was again in semifinals.

2nd February Our own breeding Ajaton = Allu and Aralia = Ara went to a dog show today. And what a result! Both received CAC, Allu was BOB and Ara BOS! Congratulations to both!!

26th January 2008 We continued shows in Turku: Niki again BOB and BIG3!

5th - 6th January 2008 Niki started shows in Finland after five months break. And what a weekend it was: Niki was BOB, BIG and finally on Sunday BIS2!!!

Year 2007 Keeshond results: our own breeding Ada became the best Kees puppy, Nala the best Kees veteran and Niki the best Kees male in Finland (fifth time and Niki is going to be six years in May)!
