Niki was the best Kees male in Finland 2009 and 11th in Kennelclubs show dog competition!!!

12th-13th December The last dog shows are now over for this year. We had Reino and Niki with us: on Saturday Reino was third best male and Niki fourth. On Sunday Reino second in open class and Niki again fourth best male. I showed also one Suomenlapinkoira, one Kees bitch and one Husky. With the Husky Yoda I went also to the big ring.

Safiiri has been giving milk to nine other Husky puppies. Their mum didn´t have enough milk.

1st December We have had many problems with our Internet connection and still having every now and then. Niki has been in two dog shows: Jyväskylä BOB and Turku third best champion.

9th November Safiiri got seven puppies: five males and two bitches. Everything went well..

24th October We drove to Seinäjoki dog show. We had kees Niki and husky Inka with us. Niki was BOS and Inka BOB and also BIG4!!! Thanks Sanna for taking care of our dogs and Tuija & Jari for loaning us a hair dryer!

Sometimes you may have a feeling that there isn´t a man at all in the house. ;) Kari has been in Sweden in working dog seminar, in Jämi with husky people and in another dog training. Well.. also I was one day telling about Keeshonden in one shopping centre with Silja. :)

19th-20th September We spent the whole weekend in Husky specialty show. There were 258 Huskies entered. Our Inka gor excellent and then we had three Milla´s dogs with us: Viivi got excellent, Yoda and Nita won both there classes!! Thanks Lotta and Teemu who made it possible for us to train with our dogs on Saturday evening!

12th-13th September I went to a dog show with Milla. Kari was working both days in Porvoo dog show. I had Keeshonden Niki and Ada with me. Ada was totally out of coat but was still second best bitch. Niki became BOB, BIG and on Sunday BIS (just two FCI groups)! I handled also Witsi husky and she became BOB also. :) THANKS to Milla that you drove us to Äetsä on Sunday again!

9th-10th September Safiiri is mated with Jätkä.. it was almost a hurry to do that because Jätkä left to a dog show in Sweden 11th September.

5th September Penny went to a dog show: she got excellent and was BOB veteran

In August-September were we spending about one week in Sweden. Thanks to Sanna who looked after our dogs and thanks to Kiijärvi family who looked after Safiiri and Esikko!

22nd - 23rd August Niki BOB in Kouvola and Heinola. Virpi took our Ada with her to a dog show in Estonia. Ada left all her coat home but was still fourth best bitch. Reino got just very good. THANKS Virpi for taking our little girl with you!!!

15th - 16th August Niki was BOB both days. After Saturday´s show we went to Katja´s place and stayed the night there. Thanks Katja for good food and for good company we thank all who were there!

11th August A. Safiiri has been in health examination: hips ok, elbows ok and also gonioscopy ok!

8th August Show in Turku: Reino third best male, Niki BOB and Inka third best bitch!

26th July Today in Helsinki: Niki BOB!

25th July It was time to go to Mikkeli: WAU!! :) The whole day went in the rings and it rained all day long. First in the ring was Topi, result: third best male, CAC and FI CH!!! Then Niki.. he became BOB. Boys were not behaving so good in the ring. They have learned to hate each other so much. :( I handled also Fasu (BOS). After Keeshond ring it was immediately time for the Huskies. (there were 42 of them.. not so many usually) First I took Teemu (Inka´s brother) to the ring: second best male, CAC and CACIB! Then Inka who hasn´t been in the ring since last autumn. (once in UK) She became BOS with CAC and got her first CACIB!

11th July And the summer goes on... luckily towards winter! Niki went to a dog show again ;) beeing BOB and BIG3! Today I handled also Kees Omppu (second best bitch) and happy Husky Betsy (CAC and BOS)

4th July Today it was Topi´s and Niki´s show day in Tuusula: Topi third best male and res CAC and Niki BOB and BIG3. Yeah! I handled also Kees Moona (BOB puppy), Husky Flash (third best male and CAC) and Husky Jolanda (second best bitch).

28th June Niki participated in a dog show again. :) It was so so warm day! Niki went well: BOB and BIG! I handled also Huskies Viivi (very good) and Ilona (second best bitch).

27th June We offered a little bit help to arrange a match show (a kind of dog show... whoever can judge there, also mixed breed can participate in and so on). Its profit went to animal welfare federation.

19th-21st June We were spending the Midsummer with friends and their dogs. Some photos.

13th June Reino went to a dog show with Virpi and the result was BOB, CONGRATULATIONS!

We were spending a day with Husky people. Our breeding Sakke was there too. It was so nice to see him again. First we had club´s annual meeting and Kari became vice chairman and a member of show committee. I´m not so happy about it because I´m conserned about is there enough time to handle all these things he is in. But luckily I could have him away from the chairman´s place. ;)

After the meeting it was time for canoeing competition.Kari had entered us to take part. Oh no.. nobody told me that the route is going to be so long (about 6 kilometres). Well.. we survived. ;) After canoeing it was time to listen to lecture of dog massage. Thanks Milla for travelling company and taking photos! Some photos

7th June Today we had one "new" dog with us in the dog show in Tuuri: Penny. Results: Niki BOB, Ada second best bitch and Penny fourth best bitch and best veteran.

6th June Today we were in Salo dogshow: Reino fourth best male, Niki BOB and BIG3 and Ada second best bitch! So a fine day again. Then I handled two Huskies:: Jolanda BOB and Keena very good. Today it was a very cold day, about + 10°C.

1st June We were spending a day in Mänttä. And what a day: almost + 30°C. I don´t like. Niki was in the ring and the result: BOB and BIG2!

24th May Helsinki: Reino excellent, Niki BOB and Ada BOS! Ada got her second CACIB from Finland. Maybe some day we could travel abroad also.

23rd May Rauma: Kees Reino fourth best male and CAC and Niki BOB and BIG2!

17th May Hamina: Topi very good and Niki second best male. Then I handled two Huskies. It didn´t went so well in the ring but the result was fine: Fuller BOS and Betsy got her first CAC and was BOB!

16th May In Varkaus dog show we had our moments. Our breeding Topi and Ada got both certificates, Allu was fourth best male and Ada became a CHAMPION. Niki was BOB and BIG3!

9th May Kirsi and Sonja (12 years) were in a match show with Keeshond Ada and Siberian Husky Inka. Match show is a totally unofficial show for all breed, also mixed. Ada with Sonja was 3rd best big dog and won the "best coat"-competition. Inka was BIS! It was a first time for Sonja to show a dog in a ring, well done! And it was a really rainy day. 25th April In Vaasa we had only Niki with us. But he was BOB and BIG!!

11th April Lappeenranta dog show: Niki forth best male and Ada second best bitch and res CAC.

4th April Today it was time for Keeshond special show: A. Alokas third in his class, Niki fourth in his class, A. Aralia very good and Nala BOS Veteran. Both Aurinkoniityn dog´s were invited to "Best Coat" competition. Nala´s critique (written as it was in critique): Lovely bitch, 13 years old. It´s a pleasure for me to judge her this age and in this tiptop condition. She still have very strong & super white teeth. Complety for the owner. Nice head & expression. Very good coat quality. Free & easy mover. <3

There were also a show for tourists. (for example for a dog without testicles) Our Osku was BOB and Lotta BOS. Only four dogs entered.. ;)

29th March Korpilahti dog show: Niki BOB BIG4 and Ada third best bitch and res CAC

21st March Queen Nala 13 years!!!

Today had the results come also to Kennelclub´s site: Aurinkoniityn Adalmiina: hips B/B and elbows 0/0, Aurinkoniityn Samsara A/A and 0/0, Sleigh Ride´s Just A Miracle A/A and 0/0. Hurray!

14th - 15th March Tampere dog show ~7000 dogs entered: Niki was BOB and BIG on the first day. Ada´s result was third best bitch, res CAC and res CACIB (which is going to be confirmed as a CACIB!) The next day we went back to Tampere and Niki was BIS2!!!

6th - 8th March We went again to Crufts dog show in UK. We were having two own dogs with us and five others. Our Niki was again fourth in his class and Inka won her class!!

26th February Kari was visiting a veterinarian with few dog´s. (Kirsi is staying in Sweden) First Huskies: Inka (Sleigh Ride´s Just A Miracle) was beeing x rayed for hips and elbows, knees and eyes was examined also gonioscopy. Samsara was beeing x rayed for hips and elbows and gonioscopy for the eyes. All of those seemed to be ok. Then Keeshonden: Ada was beeing x rayed for hips and elbows. They seemed to be ok also. A Alokas wasn´t so lucky: his hips and elbows seemed to be not so good.

22nd February Very nice weekend in dog shows with Keeshonden: Niki BOS, Ada third in her class, Reino fourth best male and CAC!!

21st February Supernews!!! A Ajaton became the kennel´s first champion! CONGRATULATIONS to the owners!

1st February Ada is always thinking that she is the Husky so why couldn´t she act like a one.. ;)

25th January Today was Turku dog show. There we had Keeshonden: Reino with "very good", Ada with "very good" and Niki BOB. Husky Esikko was staying with Sandra and having massage.

10th January We drove to a dog show in Kajaani. It´s about 550 kilometres.. First those bad news: Samsara got some kind of panic in the show ring and got just "sufficient" from the ring. :(
Keeshonden: A Alokas was second best male, got CAC and reserve CACIB (which is going to be confirmed as a CACIB!), Niki was BOB and BIG4 and A Adalmiina third best bitch and reserve CAC.

1st January We started the New Year so that all of the dogs were visiting a physiotherapist.

Niki was the best Kees male in Finland 2008 and 11th in Kennelclubs show dog competition!!!
