October - December

Our Keke got an epilepsy seizure so the puppy plans changed. We are going to use Foxfire Tuxedo Junction "Tux" to "Musta". One of Reino's (Valindale Keep The Faith) puppies died because of lymphoma at the age of two. :(

Some dogs of our breeding have been in health checks and results were fine:

Aurinkoniityn Teräs: knees 0/0 (the best)
Aurinkoniityn Taikuus: knees 0/0
Aurinkoniityn Tomera: knees 0/0, eyes OK
Aurinkoniityn Topaasi: knees 0/0

Äijä (Finnish Lapphund) got results also: knees 0/0, eyes OK, heart OK

Nana was earlier in a so called "match show" and was suddenly afraid of a loudspeeker beside the ring. After that she has been afraid of the situation in show ring. Turku dog show went well.. the judges has liked her a lot but because of the behaviour she has not been placed.

Aurinkoniityn Sarina and Topaasi has also participated in a sled dog working trial.

September 2012 Our Niki (Ikurin Nota Bene) lost the battle against a tumor in his rectum. We had great times together.

Nana went to a first dog show and got very good.
Kirsi spent a weekend with friends in Åland and got to see Hasta (Kittihof's Hasta Manana, Reino's son) becoming a Finnish Champion!

27th July 2012 Reino's (Valindale Keep The Faith) first litter become two years in the end of June. Hasta (Kittihof's Hasta Manana) became the first champion! Congratulations! Finally I got the chance to go to ring with Niki's daughter Chiqi! <3 She became third best bitch with bikini look. ;)

14th July 2012 Keke was in a dog show in Karjaa and he became BOB!
At the same time with Niki's testicle problems, started he to have problems to poo. It's possible that he's got a tumor but we'll live now further. It's too much to do a surgery in that area so as far as he is able to poo quite easily, everything is okey. When it starts to be more difficult, it's his time to go.

April-May 2012 Nothing new here. Äijä has been in some shows and Nana and some other dogs have been practising dog shows in match shows. Kirsi and Äijä travelled to World Winner in Austria. They were having Finninsh Lapphund "Helmi" with them. Äijä got an EXC but placed second. Luckily Helmi got the winner title! :) Äijä's under coat was at home and the judge said that he is also too skinny.

11th April 2012 Niki has visited Veterinarian: every blood sample was okey. So we are going to neuter him and hope for the best.

1st April 2012 This day we'll remember: we had entered Niki to a dog show but he didn't have testicles left... or just very small ones!

4th March 2012 The official x-ray results has come: Keke got B/B hips, Musta and Tatu A/A hips and all elbows were the best 0/0! Great!

9th March 2012 "Luca" (Aurinkoniityn Tehopakkaus) moved back home

25th-26th February 2012 I made suprise trip to Belarussian dog shows! One friend needed help for a show trip so I went with her. It's quite different symstems in the dog show. I was happy to handle totally four dogs there.

Aurinkoniityn Taikuus scored the same weekend REK1 from sleddog race trial!!!

18th February 2012 This day was highly expected. :) We were x raying and having eye exam done to few dogs. We had own offspring A Teräs "Nemo", A Toiveuni "Tatu" and A Timantti "Musta" and also Quebec de Ciukci "Keke" with us. All of those got OK eyes (also gonioscopy). Tatu, Musta and Keke was also x rayed: hips and elbows, and knees were checked. Everything seemed to be allright.. just waiting for the official results.

11th February 2012 Niki participated in Veteran of Veterans competition. He won the first pair but anything else.

21st January 2012 We travelled to Spain and our friend Virpi took our Äijä to a dog show. He was placed third in his class with CQ. From Spain we picked up a Husky girl Nana. We got her because of Roki's death.

15th January 2012 New show year has started. :) In Kajaani Niki BOB Veteran and Äijä the Finnish Lapphund who had just became 9 months and could start the official shows was second best junior with CQ.
