The project aims to spread knowledge of the fundamentals of a quality system, using internet multimedia tools. Training organisations and companies can use for their quality training needs and purposes:
  • Works directly on individual responsibility
  • Adaptable to the business specificities
  • Simple and expendable by all and in total freedom
  • The content in 14 fifteen minutes modules makes simple and reachable the method which enable to individualize precisely the formation with 1, 2, 3, or several employees
  • The European frame of reference for the best practices
  • Cheap and perennial

The objectives of the PROWAT Project are to improve the skills and competences of people, to improve the quality of and access to continuing vocational training, and to promote and reinforce the contribution of vocational training to the innovation process, including:

  • Make a Needs-Analyses by interviewing experts and trainers in Water Management.
  • Develop specific vocational training tools and materials in the field of Water Management .
  • Design the products in a way to facilitate efficient water management & control in Europe & provide educational information about best practices, new technologies & current regulations in the water management & control field.
  • Educate the engineers at the strategic levels, technicians working in the water sector, and the trainers in the water sector
  • Design vocational training course modules in the education centres, universities, training centres, VET organisations that will be given to engineers, technicians, and trainers.
  • Provide certifications, where they have the approved validity from VET Organisations, to the users.
  • Develop e-learning methods through a web-site enabling "learning anywhere and anytime".

The project is intended to implement a common model for the quality control of vocational education and training (VET), based on the ECQAF (European Common Quality Assurance Framework) and propose standards, as follows:
  • Testing the framework in all partner countries
  • Assess the impact of different quality focuses in social organisations, on the quality obtained in their educational activities
  • Test the framework in a more content-oriented model
  • Create a web model for Quality  Assurance in VET
  • Implement the framework in different levels (suppliers, public and private VET)
  • Focus on all the actors of VET: managers, teachers, technical and administrative staff

The objectives of QESTRAIN are:

  1. to survey the existing problems, needs of improvement and good practices as related to the planning and implementation of quality, environmental and safety management and the training of the personnel around these issues in Austrian, Estonian, Finnish and German hospitals (and health care units)
  2. to create a personnel training model and toolkit at all organizational levels and personnel groups of hospitals and health care units that helps these organizations to integrate quality, environmental and safety aspects into the management, work organization and daily working procedures
  3. to prepare an outline of the pedagogical and substance aspects for the integration of quality, environmental and safety issues into the vocational curricula of practical nurses and to test the modified curricula with a pilot course in Estonia and in Finland
  4. to establish / reinforce national and international networks of hospitals, vocational training organizations and consultants, educational and public health authorities, trade unions and employer’s organizations in the issues related to quality, environmental and safety management in hospitals and health care sector and development of vocational training and to disseminate the project results and products via this network to partner countries and other EU / EU accessing countries

The project objective is to support the incorporation of sustainable development in the management, teaching and maintenance activities of educational establishments by creating an environmental evaluation system that provides a step-by-step path towards EMAS-registration. The system includes the criteria and organisation for the Environmental Certification Applying to Educational Field, network of qualified auditors for the public sector, and supportive training for educational establishments. The model developed in the project will be disseminated throughout Europe.

An educational package will be a concrete product which includes a management  model, background information on sustainable development and practical instructions for building up the sustainable development system in the school.
In realisation the instructions will concentrate on concrete methods - like energy saving, waste avoiding etc. The contents of the educational package will cover the whole sustainable development  - including its social and ecological dimensions.

As the main distributor of goods to consumers, the retailing sector has substantial responsibility for the environment. Appropriate modes of operation will result in saving for the environment, for the national economy, and for the business. Environmental consciousness among costumers is also growing. Appropriate display of products and product information will help consumers make environmentally sound decisions.

Work in retail changes rapidly: consumers demand changes, new products are launched, the competitive situation changes, and the scope of environmentally oriented regulation increases. The modes of operation of the organisation and of its personnel need to be developed on a continuous basis, as so as learning.
