Background |
The schools, as well as other organisations, are required to make their own sustainable development programmes. Even though it is required, there are no clear instructions how to do it. And if there are some, they usually are fragmented and not covering all fields of sustainable development. As a conclusion: the schools should include sustainable development into their organisation but they often do not know how to do it. |
Commitments to sustainable development have been made both on the national and international level. (examples here: like the commitments of Kioto, Rio de Janeiro, European Union´s environmental program etc.) |
The aim of the projectThe main aim of the project is to create a educational package of sustainable In realisation the instructions will concentrate on concrete methods - like energy saving, waste avoiding etc. The contents of the educational package will cover the whole sustainable development - including its social and ecological dimensions. |
