Last Summer.... one night from 2:36am to 3:40am (checked my datestamps) I modeled this 56 polygon hallway (5 mins... but had to do some booleans a couple minutes later for collision detection to work properly), ran particle storm on it using three emitters, one angled toward the viewer, and two facing either sides, with collision detection (20 mins).

Tweaked around a bit with some hypervoxel fire textures (20 mins), animate 3 lights moving with it (5 mins... animated one, cloned it 2x, then used alt-shift to move these paths off to the left and right), tweaked a bit (10 mins) and then hit render on this Matrix inspired animation.
