1. Create your scene as usual. You can try ie. something
with a table, something on it and a BG image.
2. Run the Overcaster HUB script (Overcaster.lsc). PlugPak
2.0 should have automatically installed a button for it...
3. For the ambient, select "OC Ambient", and set the number
of both the "OC Sun"
lights and "Shadowers" to one. Click OK , and then again
OK for the upcoming Overcaster SUN requester. When the Shadow panel pops up,
select your main object as the parent object, and set the "Automatic" checkbox
on. Click OK once more.
4. Play around with Ambient mixer's slider settings to get
hang of things.
5. Rotate the SUN rotation object so that the light direction
looks nice. Repeat step 4 with sun mixer, and the shadow mixer.
6. Do test renderings with different settings to see how
the OGL version differs from the final rendering.
7. Run the Overcaster script again. Now select "Ambimage"
for your overcaster ambient. Click OK. On the Ambimage interface, select "Image"
as the source, and select your BG image as the image. Do more test renders.
8. Enjoy.
