• The Firm League is meant for Petanque teams of workplaces and firms on the capital city Helsinki area.

  Our teams:

  
  
• The team of Statistics Finland (Matti Kauhanen, Lasse Leino, Christer Nyman, Raimo Rantonen and Esko Riste) participated on autumn season 1997 for the first time at Helsinki Petanque League or Firm League (2-division, group "Helsinki 2").
  
• The team of Statistics Finland (Matti Kauhanen, Christer Nyman, Kirsi Palteisto, Raimo Rantonen and Esko Riste) participated on spring season 1998 for the second timeat Firm League.
  
• The team of Statistics Finland (Matti Kauhanen, Christer Nyman, Riitta Poukka, Raimo Rantonen and Esko Riste) participated on autumn season 1998 for the third timeat Firm League.
  
• The team of Statistics Finland ( Christer Nyman, Riitta Poukka, Jarmo Ranki, Raimo Rantonen and Esko Riste) participated on spring season 1999 for the fourth time at Firm League and on autumn season 1999 for the fifth time at Firm League.
  
• The team of Statistics Finland ( Christer Nyman, Jarmo Ranki, Raimo Rantonen and Esko Riste and in spring 2000 once Tenho Vastaranta ) participated on spring season 2000 for the sixth time at Firm League and on autumn season 2000 for the seventh time at Firm League.
  In adddition there was also winter season for the first time in many years. We participated with the same team.

  Our results:

• In autumn 1997 the result was third place - bronze. In addition to the bronze prize our team got a special prize as the best new team (in 2-division). Each player got also a medal.
  
• In spring 1998 the result was a lot worse than in autumn 1997 - sixt place.
  
• In autumn 1998 the result was first price - gold.
  
• In spring 1999 and in autumn 1999 we were playing on higher level in 1-division.
  
• The Result of spring season in 1-Division was 11. place but we kept our place in 1-division. 13. , 14. , 15. and 16. teams are playing in autumn at 2-division. 13. , 14. and 16. teams and our team war new teams in 1-division and only we kept our place.
  
• The Result of autumn season 1999 in 1-Division was a lot worse (13. of 14). So in the year 2000 we were playing again on lower level in 2-division.
  
• In winter 2000 we were seventh from total 16 teams. The teams were mixed from all divisions.
  
• In spring 2000 we were fourth.
  
• In autumn 2000 we were second - silver.
  The four silver medalists from 2-divisions and 11. and 12. from 1-division had trial competition of two places in 1-division. Four teams of six particiated. We were the second. So in spring 2001 we are again playing in 1-division.
  
• In winter 2001 we got gold from B-cup for teams at places 5.-8 from two 12 team groups. The teams were mixed from all divisions.
  
• In spring 2001 we were sixth of 14 teams in 1-division.
  
• In autmun 2001 we were again sixth of 13 teams in 1-division.
  
• In winter 2002 we were 9. from two 11 team groups. And that was the end of games this time. The teams were mixed from all divisions.
• In spring 2002 we were second of 14 teams in 1-division. Therefor on autumn 2002 we are plying in the highest division Champion-division.
  
• In autumn 2002 we were the last of 14 teams in Champion-division. Therefor on spring 2003 we were playing again in 1-division .
  
• In winter 2003 we got silver from total 25 teams. The teams were mixed from all divisions.
  
• In spring 2003 we were fourth of 13 teams in 1-division.
  
• In autumn 2003 we were tenth of 14 teams in 1-division.
  
• In winter 2004 we got bronze from total 24 teams. The teams were mixed from all divisions.
• In spring 2004 we were sixth of 13 teams in 1-division.
  11. 12. from Champion-division. and 3. and 4. from 1-division and 5. & 6. reserve had possibility for trial competition of two places in champion-division. Only three teams of six particiated. It was succesful. So in spring 2004 we are playing in Champion-division.
• In spring 2004 we were 8. of 13 teams in champion-division.
• In winter 2005 we were (11.- ) 12. / 14 from two 11-14 team groups. And that was the end of games this time. The teams were mixed from all divisions.
• In spring 2005 we were the last of 14 teams in Champion-division. Therefor on autumn 2005 we are playing again in 1-division .
• In spring 2005 we were the first of 17 teams in 1-division. Therefor on autumn 2006 we are playing again in Champion-division.
• In winter 2006 we were (7.- ) 12. from two team groups. And that was the end of games this time. The teams were mixed from all divisions.
• In spring 2006 we were the 12. of 14 teams in Champion-division. We had a change to stay at trial competition but it was not succesful. Therefor on autumn 2006 we are playing again in 1-division.
• In autumn 2006 we were the third of 14 teams in 1-division. We go a change to rise up at trial competition up to Champion-division and it was succesful. Therefor on spring 2007 we are playing again in Champion-division.
• In winter 2007 we got gold from B-cup for teams at places 4.-7 from two 10-11 team groups. The teams were mixed from all divisions.
• In 2007 the result was unsucccesul.
• In winter 2008 we got gold from 16 teams.
• In 2008 the result was 5./31.
• In winter 2009 we got silver from B-cup for teams at places 4.-7 from two 9 team groups.
• In 2009 the result was Silver 2./28.
• In winter 2010 we got bronze from B-cup for teams at places 4.-6 from two 9-10 team groups.
• In 2010 the result was Silver 2./26.
• In winter 2011 the result was 5./8 in B-cup.
• In 2011 the result was Silver 2./22.
• 2012 In winter 2011 was the result 5./8 in A-cup for teams at 1.-8. in two groups of 8-9 teams.
  The result in Summer 2012 was Silver of 21 teams 2./21.
• In 2012 the result was Silver 2./21.
• 2013 The result in winter 2013 was gold in B-cup from total 16 (9./16).
• In Spring 2013 the result was fifth 5./24.
• In aurumn 2013 the result was gold 1./21.
• 2014 The result in winter 2014 was silver in B-cup from total 16 (9./16).
• In Spring 2014 the result was silver 2./26.
• In autumn 2014 the result was bronz 3./24.
