The project is completed!
I picked up the painted body from the luthier today. It was
sure nice to see it finally done! The color is maybe slightly too dark and
definitely too opaque compared to the original Walnut Brown, but anyway I
think it's great.
After all, the neck was refretted with close to the original fret size. Also
the few missing dots were added and the fingerboard oiled.
The neck, bridge+pup combo and strings are now attached, and the guitar is
now waiting for some electrickery.
These are few wallpapers I made a *good* while ago. Pictured
here are my Epiphone Flying V and my homebrew Telecaster. The wallpapers are
available only in 1280 * 1024 size. Feel free to download!
If you have any wallpapers or high-rez images of '72-'81 Telecaster Custom
or '73-'81 Telecaster Deluxe and are willing to share them, I'll be more than
glad if you could
mail
me one.
