Comments An increasing problem. Faint and semi-bright stars up to 30 degrees above the horizon are dimmed out by the lights of the nearest town 15 km (10 miles) away.
This is not only a astronomical issue. It is also a biological problem (migrating birds, insects..) and a waste of energy. Read more at:
