Anne and Luna participated in a BH-trial arranged by the dog club Luoteis-Uudenmaan Käyttökoirat (L-UKK). The trial was held in the training field of this dog club. Because we had trained in L-UKK, Luna knew the field well.
The most exciting moment of trial was experienced at the last section. In this section the dog is surrounded by many people and the dog is commanded down. Then the judge shakes hands with the trainer. As an outdoor dog Luna can't stand the smell of tobacco. Because the judge smoked, Luna denied to stay under blockage. When the judge was told about Luna's problem, he, of course, ended smoking tobacco. After that the last section succeeded. Thus Luna became the first Finnish Siberian husky that has passed the BH-trial.
It is a pity that in Finland BH-trial is the only test of the working dogs in which a Siberian husky can compete.
