+The meromictic lake receives muddy, murky and polluted water by Sumani River (top), which evidently settles down to the hypolimnion. The lake discharges to Umbilin River at Sambarak. Clear greenish outflow in 1992 (middle) and clear brownish outflow in 1993 (bottom) after the construction works for additional water withdrawal had started. It is evident that the deeper outlet has caused disturbances in the lake.
