Jesus was in the beginning
One reason why Jesus is said to be God is also that he was in the beginning and all was made through him.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him. Without him was not anything made that has been made.
John 1:1-3

If we consider that what is said in Old Testament about sons of God and also that what is said about Jesus, it seems like Jesus have been the like archangel/Prince that has been born in the flesh. Nevertheless, according to Bible Jesus has been the first creation and he is also born in the flesh.
