AVALON
Based on Mamoru Oshii's Polish cyberpunk movie. In the future illegal Virtual Reality war games - using neural-induction helmets (p. UT80) - are the most popular (and most dangerous) form of entertainment. In Avalon, a war game in which gamers can play separately or as part of team, is hidden Special A, a subsection of the game in which Virtual Reality becomes more "real" than the world outside. If you die in Special A, you're left brain-dead, but if you survive, you unlock the mysterious Class Real. (Ultratech 1&2) |

FALLOUT
Having acquired the license for GURPS from Steve Jackson Games, Interplay planned a series of computer versions of the popular pencil & paper table game. Fallout was to have been the first of these, but due to disagreements between the principles, that never happened. Now you have a chance to make Fallout to see daylight. For example you could let the players join the Brotherhood of Steel as in Fallout Tactics. (Y2K) |

GALAXY QUEST Based on movie film Galaxy Quest. Players are struggling actors on sc-ifi soap opera "Galaxy Quest". For not players' knowledge, these GQ episodes are watched on another galaxy by alien race. These aliens take the serie in matter-of-fact manner. When the aliens are in trouble, they contact actors on Earth at sci-fi fair. Possibly players just think first they are recruited on another CQ episode or commercial or something .. (Aliens/Space) |

HELLSING
Based on Japanese Studio Gonzo's new anime. Players are part of a special branch of the London police D11. After players die horribly, they are transformed into vampires under secret paramilitary organization known as Hellsing Institute (or one died and was transformed, others were just transferred). As new operatives of sir Integral Wingates Hellsing players must combat the undead army as well as their newfound hunger. (Special Ops/Blood Types/Vampire: The Masquerade?) "There are mysteries which men
can only guess at, which age by age they may solve only in part. Believe
me, we are now on the verge of one." |

INTERSTELLAR
PIG
Based on William Sleator's book Interstellar Pig. When three unusually attractive young adults rent the summer cottage next door, Barney's boring vacation at the beach seemingly takes a turn for the better. However, after the neighbors unwittingly reveal their extraterrestrial identities, the board game they have taught him becomes a real-life battle, and Barney must outsmart the aliens to save Earth from destruction. The fantastical tale contains some of Sleator's most inventive characters. (Aliens/Space) |

KINETICA
Based on Sony's latest racing game (www.us.playstation.com/games/SCUS-97132). In the future high speeds and violence go hand in hand on the track - like in Rollerball. Instead of searching for world peace or the end of starvation, we will be focusing on ways to drive faster, sexier and more upside down. With the help of Kinetic Suits, advanced exoskeletons with wheels, players participate in illegal underground races for the thrill of competition or other sinister reasons. Racing has evolved. (Martial Arts/Vehicles) |

NAVY SEALS The Naval Special Warfare Development Group (known as SEAL Team 6): "Men, you are trained to intercept possible alien intervention. Did you think that you would never see real action? Well, I did, too. But now miracle has occurred. Aliens have landed. Mobilisation begins at two minutes. Go go!". Think X-COM: Ufo Defense game as for example. (Special Ops/Aliens) |

No, this isn't Wizard of Oz, but HBO's violent men-behind-bars (insert players) drama, testosterone-driven soap opera for guys. Perfect background for GM's restrictive, enclosed environment. Ideas can be taken from HBO's episodes. Players can be part of Aryan Brotherhood, Muslims or just friends from the street or other prison. Nice variation for playing good guys. Still most players' gung-ho actions in typical game session will eventually lead players to the prison or cemetary. Some might even be "innocents". (Martial Arts/Cops)

| SURVIVOR
There is show on CBS where the world is watching as 16 castaways eliminate each other one by one from a remote tropical island. The lone survivor will walk away with $1,000,000. This campaign can be run as the real CBS show, or it could be more desperate like in Running Man. Check out my Sitespotting.

THE MATRIX: ANOMALIES
Based on - you know well enough what. Players are anomalies whose minds reject the illusions of the Matrix. Or they could be exile programs with hidden agendas. Check out this awesome Roleplaying in the world of The Matrix link (dansego.com/matrix/)! (Supers/Martial Arts) NEO: This isn't real? |

Joseph W. McMoneagle and Lyn Buchanan worked as psychic spies in the controversial $20 million CIA-military program known as the Stargate Project. It's said it ended in 1995. This could be a true life campaign version of The X-Files. It could be run so that players are remote viewers going on psychic spying missions around the world. You should read REMOTE VIEWERS: The secret history of America's psychic spies and THE STARGATE CHRONICLES: Memoirs of a Psychic Spy (see Amazon reviews). (Psionics/Espionage)

Imagine you could lucid dreaming. Maybe you could invade other people's dreams. This could lead to spying game (Espionage) or A Nightmare on Elm Street (Horror). Or maybe you are summoned to a fantasy world (Fantasy), from which you cannot escape, until you accomplish the mission of your summoner(s). Your body lies in coma while you occupy somebody else's body. Or it all happens in your mind (and you have gone insane). Check out my Campaigns for In the Land of Nod and Nod 2.

WAR ON TERROR A campaign to rid the world of terrorism - first locating the terrorists in Afghanistan and then sending in quick response infantry strikes - insert players here. It is the media that are not exercising caution - giving terrorists useful information on the position of troops, ways in which biological and chemical agents could be used. This campaign could escalate to Third World War - hopefully not in Real Life... (Special Ops/Espionage) |

WHEN GRAVITY FALLS You thought that those wire-fu moves in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon were impossible. Think again. Zero gravity in space, low gravity on Mars and microgravity on Moon makes you a ballet dancer. You can lift easily incredible weights, jump further, climb faster and so on. A strict gun control increases the value of martial arts. (Terradyne/Space/Martial Arts) |
