Sanaksenaho Architects ltd. - Sanaksenaho Arkkitehdit Oy was founded in Helsinki in 1991 by architect Matti Sanaksenaho. Since the year 1997 architect Pirjo Sanaksenaho has been a partner. Sanaksenaho Architects designs many types of buildings, interiors and urban plans for the special needs of the comissioner, the user and the place. News: 30.9.2013 Finnish Architectural Review ARK has published interview of Sanaksenaho Architects and CIPEA Villa in the latest issue 4/2013 7.6.2013 Villa for CIPEA in Nanjing, Boat House, is published in the latest issue of GA-Houses 131 in Tokyo. 7.6.2013 Lighthouses. Young Nordic Architecture -exhibition is opened in Museum of Finnish Architecture. Sanaksenaho Architects is participating the exhibition. 2.8.2012 Sanaksenaho Architects will participate the Venice Biennale of Architecture, the exhibition "Lighthouses. Nordic common ground" in Nordic pavilion of Biennale. 12.10.2011 Sanaksenaho Architects has got a new commission to design a hotel & spa to Rovaniemi, Finland. More information on the newspaper Lapin Kansa 31.03.2011 Sketch Design Proposal for Helsinki Töölö-Bay Area by Sanaksenaho Architects was accepted at Helsinki City Planning Council. 10.1.2011 Matti Sanaksenaho is nominated as Professor of Contemporary Architecture at Oulu University, Department of Architecture since beginning of the year 2011. The Architecture School of Oulu in Finland is the northernmost school of architecture in the world. 1.11.2010 The Students' Health Care Building in Helsinki downtown is finished and opened for public. The building got the National Glass Award " The Glass Construction of the Year 2010". 1.6.2010 The office has moved. The new address of Sanaksenaho Architects is Sepänkatu 15 C 45, 00150 Helsinki. 1.12.2009 The construction of the Students' Health Care Building is going on in Helsinki.
