The magic, influence and success of Motown was remembered in a four hour long TV-production, called "Motown 40: The Music Is Forever". The program was send in two parts. One February the 15th and the other February the 19th. Little Richard only appeared in the first part (about 10 minuts). He was sitting at the piano in his trade mark mirror suit and speaked very well about Berry Gordy and Motown.

About 1.300 paid $250 each to be present at the inductee of Bo Diddley at Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame And Museum, Detroit. Bo Diddley was headliner at the show and was joined by guest as George Clinton, Michelle Phillips (from Mamas and Papas), Joe Walsh (from Eagles), Ike Turner and Little Richard.

The show ended with a 15-minuts long jam session with Clinton, Phillips, Turner, Diddley and Little Richard. They sang: "Hey, Bo Diddley".

At "The Top 100 Greatest Artists of Rock'n'Roll" Little Richard was numbered as number 36. TV VH1 made a presentation of Richard with clips from the Toronto Rock'n'Roll Revival 1969, and comments were by Ruth Brown and Keith Richards. Also another live perfomance was shown.

Little Richard appeared at "Quincy Jones Special - The First 50 Years" (120 minuts). A celebration of the producer's 50 yeras in the entertainment industry. Guests include Oprah Winfrey, Gloria Estefan, James Ingram, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Stomp, Nancy Wilson and Little Richard. Little Richard sat at piano and with great poundin' piano he sang one song in Jerry Lee Lewis style.

Sold out all ready June the 17th. 12.000 people attended the concert. (another source mentions 14.000 people). Little Richard wore a blue suit. In the Swedish paper Expressen Little Richard got 4 stars for his part of the concert. Chuck Berry got two and Jerry Lee Lewis only one. Jerry Lee (20-30 minuts) was first, then Richard (80 minuts) and Chuck (60 minuts) closed the show.
