This model based on Tamiya's Safari Impreza. Ride height in Safari rally was higher than in "normally" gravel rally so minor modifications for the suspensions was needed. The air intake on the roof is formed from putty. The model is painted with Tamiya's acrylic spray, Mica Blue (TS-50). Detail set is from ScaleMotorsport including parts for brakes and interior. Seatbelts are from Studio 27. Decals are partially kits original and few from Monte '99 set by Racing43. Door numbers and register plates I've drawn myself and printed with laser printer on white decal paper. With this Subaru Impreza Juha Kankkunen took his third win in Rally Finland.
