Hello, beer lover. Since October 2010 I have used a more commonly known rating system (so called 50 point system)
but I've left the old system ratings (0-5 scale) as they are until I've re-tasted them in the future.
My favourite beers are from UK, Finland and Belgium but also other brewing nations are
excellent (like USA or Norway). Please, do not take the ratings too seriously
because you can think differently about them. Slainte mhath.

Explanations to my ratings:
05 - 19 = Very basic, poor or otherwise not suitable beer for my taste
20 - 24 = Nice but doesn't give any kind of shivers
25 - 29 = Quite good but basically still a mediocre beer
30 - 34 = Good and tasty beer
35 - 39 = Very good and very pleasant beer
40 - 44 = Excellent beer
45 - 50 = Just brilliant, top quality purchase. These will be introduced with a poem or few lines from a classic book.

P.S. Try to support the Finnish small and independent breweries and buy their products. Try to avoid big bulk breweries. It was a very poor decision by Sinebrychoff to shut down Pori Brewery (the original home of Karhu) which was the oldest brewery in Nordic countries that stood on its original place. Shame on you!!

Like CAMRA in Britain, we should be having SPY (Suomalaisten Pienpanimoiden Ystδvδt). In English that would be something like HOMBRE (Homage to the Finnish Microbreweries). Hope we will see more and more microbreweries in Finland in the future.
