Can I install Invention Machine on the server?.
There are two ways to purchase and install a licence of IM:
1 A single licence for installation and use on one single PC or workstation (if you
buy, for example, 10 licences, it is just 10 single licences with a discount)
2 A server licence ("floating" licence) which is for use by a number of predefined
registered users.

Can I use Invention Machine as groupware?.
At the moment: no. Here I would like to hear your opinion: tell me what you need most.
I gather information continuously and give it further to SW developers.

Why there are so few examples from electronics in IM Lab?.
The reason is only historical. In the beginning of IM was necessary to concentrate efforts
to some some few important branches of technology. Invention Machine Corporation says
that in following upgrades much more electronics will be included. Now the database
contains many examples from mechanics, machine design and related disciplines.
I think this is not so bad. The point is to find analogies from remote fields. And,
at last, mechanics is interesting and important.

Does TRIZ really work?
One can say: "We have tried all creativity methods, and all are found to be useless
We should we think, that TRIZ is different?" People, who speak of inefficiency of TRIZ/TIPS
or Invention Machine either have never tried to use new tools or know TRIZ very superficially.
Situation is a little bit same as if we begun some fitness training program, exercised half an hour,
and said: "It comes to nothing. Form didnīt get any better."

What kind of results TRIZ and IM has given?
We could give a standard answer: tell about fascinating answer: tell about fascinating ideas and
engineering solutions, from new pizza box to an improved transducer in a nuclear reactor.
You can find information of results in the tutorials and articles on this WWW page, and in other
web sites, for example:
- A. Killander. Generating Electricity for Families in Northern Sweden , TRIZ Journal January 1997
- ASI. Four company profiles ("TRIZ Success Stories"), see American Supplier Institute

More important and interesting, however, is own experience. Why not to prove yourself?
For example, the Two Pluses Matrix and Many Pluses approach, discussed on this web site.
