About bulldogs

What to feed the bulldog?

There is no simple advise for what to feed the bulldog because every bulldog is an individual. When the bulldog eats food that suits him, his coat is shiny, his skin is healthy, he moves and feels well in every way.

We do not recommend pig ears for bulldogs as they can get stucked into the dogs throat. We also do not recommend the bulldog to be fed food made for people because in our opinion it is not suitable for animals. Food made for people is often too fatty or too spicy, although the bulldog would love to eat it - naturally it is tastier than ordinary dog food! We do not give our bulldogs dog treats too often. Pieces of dried meat and biological dog biscuits are a suitable delight for Ella and Bessie.

If your bulldog has skin problems, he may be eating the wrong kind of food. Nowadays many dogs are over-sensitive or allergic to different kind of foodstuffs. If the bulldog's problems are caused by his nutrition, you should consider feeding him biological dog food sold in pet shops. Quite often biological dog food suits best an over-sensitive dog. It takes time for the dog to get used to his new diet, so if you do not right away see any change in his condition, do not give in. It may take several months before you can see the changes for better.

Dogs eat meat. Raw miced meat is suitable for dogs served with dog food. Our dogs eat lamb meat and like it very much. They laso get some Omega 3- and Omega 6 preserves to keep their coat healthy and shiny.

The dog digests his meal better if he eats twice a day and not so big portions. Our dogs eat in the morning and in the evening and they digest their meals very well.
