Wheelback's bulldogs

We are small breeders of bulldogs. Our bulldogs live with us lying on the sofa and playing in the backyard. We take promenades with the dogs out in the woods nearby or take them to the seaside to explore new interesting places. We provide our bulldogs with activities and action.

When nutrition is concerned, we are very strict about to feed our dogs nourishing food. Spicy food made for people or other kind of food unhealthy for dogs do not belong to the diet of our bulldogs.

As breeders we apply the breeders agreement of the Kennel Club of Finland and the breeding goal programme of the Bulldog Club of Finland. When choosing a male for our bitches we stress health issues and the sound structure and temperament of the bulldog. We try to do our part in bringing new bloodlines to Finland. As breeders we trust veterinaries who know our breed well as well as advice and knowledge of experienced breeders who have a serious approach to breeding bulldogs.

We want to promote the knowledge of our breed in Finland. Our home pages are one way of giving information about the breed, bulldogs in Finland and taking care of the bulldog. We are happy to tell more about the breed to people wanting to learn more about buldogs. We hope that our puppies find good, caring homes where their owners have the time and patience to take good care of their bulldogs and provide them with enough activities. We also hope that, when needed, the owners of our puppies have the possibility to use the services of a good veterinary who is familiar with bulldogs.

We like to attend dog shows and enjoy them, but we do not base our breeding work in the show succes of our bulldogs. Prior to succes in dog shows is that all Wheelback's bulldogs resemble the breed well, they are healthy and have a good temperament.
