About show rules
Finnish dog show rules can be found at the address:
The show rules have been renewed from the beginning of 2012.
We also apply the Anti-Doping rules in Finnish dog shows.
In Finland all dogs are given a written judgement at the dog shows.
The prizes and quality judgements are shown by ribbons or jubilee roses in different colours. You can find more information about the prizes here.
In order to understand the show judgements it is worthwhile to get acquinted with the breed standard at it's interpretation. The breed standard of the Bulldog Club can be found at the address http://www.the-kennel-club.org.uk/. (Choose the link Breed Standards).
Finland is a member of the FCI (Federation Cynologique Internationale) and applies the FCI standard. The new FCI standard can be read here.
