LUNA AND JUSTUS' PUPPIES |

Because of the puppies we have been even more busier than
usually, and haven't had the time to do updates. Now the puppies
are almost 6 weeks old, and you can see it! Unfortunately we
lost 2 girls, but the remaining gang is doing very well, and
they are lovely, lively puppies! |

Outi travelled to Seinäjoki with Nemea (Trawricka Heart O Gold).
Nemea got a great critique, and was BOB-puppy. Judge Irene

Milla and Cooper's daughter Manta's (E Esmeralda) hips and

PUPPIES ARE BORN! |
|
Luna and Justus' babies were born 7th October. All went really
well, and we got a nice bunch of 5 boys and 4 girls. Puppies are
doing fine, and Luna is taking really good care of them! |

Change of judge for the setters, and Hans Lehtinen was judging.
Nemea (Trawricka Heart O Gold) was in the puppyclass getting
some valuable practise. Bono was the only adult setter we had
entered, and he got EXC. Rosa the dachshund was also entered,
and she got intermediate EXC1, best bitch with her 4th CAC,
CACIB, and BOS! Judge Kari Salminen. |

HD AND ED RESULT |
|
Ruska (E Dream N'Date) has been x-rayed, and the result was HD A
and ED 0/0! Great! Unfortunately sometimes things just
don't go as planned. Ruska got seriously ill very suddenly, and
slept away. Thank you Riina and Saku for the best possible care

ROSA JUNIOR WORLD WINNER 2008!!! |
|
We left towards Stockholm already Tuesday evening. The World
Winner show started on Thursday, but Rosa was shown already on
Wednesday at the World Dachshund Speciality. She did great by
winning junior bitches and BOB-junior! Later on she went
BIS4-junior! Rosa was also in Örnbergets breeders group, and
they went BIS2! Breed was judged by Luis Pinto Teixeira, Portugali.
On Thursday it was time for the World Winner, and FCI group 4,
the main reason for us to be there. Rosa did it absolutely great,
and won the juniorclass! She is already FINJW'07, FINW'07 and NordJW'07,
and now she can also add the title JWW'08 in front of her name!
Judge was Per Iversen, Norway. Rosa was handled very
professionally up to perfection by Jill Rhodin, tack så
mycket Jill!
On Friday we had a free day from the shows, and on Saturday
it was time for the FCI group 7 and setters. In advance we
thought anything might happen, and didn't have any expectations
for the setters. Bono was in a huge open class, and got Good.
There was nothing wrong in him, but this time the judge just
didn't like his type at all. ;) Luna went better, she got
EXCellent and was placed 2nd in champion bithces. Judge for the
dogs Gerald Condron, and bitches Kate Condron.
On Sunday we went to ISF World Wide Show for setters in Taxinge. Bono
was in Open1-class, got a very nice critique but no placement.
Luna was shown in Premie-class, and also got a very nice
critique, but not placed in a very tuff competition. Anyway it
was a nice and beautiful day, and it was nice to see people and
see some lovely dogs.
It was quite a hard trip, but the weather was beautiful all
the time, and we are more than pleased with the results! Huge
thanks to Elisabeth and Jill for letting us have this lovely
little lady, and special thanks to Jill for handling Rosa to
these wins! We could not even dreamded of having a better girl
for our first dachshund!

Bono got really nice qritique, but no placement in open class,
Luna 3rd in champion and Tara 3rd in veterans. The judge liked
Tara a lot, and would have wanted to take her with him! :)

BONO'S EYES CHECKED |
|
We took Bono to a 2nd eye cheking, because of the indistinct
statement he got. It was clear right after the first examination
that it has to be done again, because also the vet who did it
for the first time, said that the statement "PHTVL/PHPV :
borderline" in our KoiraNet (breeding database) in not correct.
Now we finally had it done, and found out that in Bono's right
eye there is a tiny tiny scar from the embryotimes, it is not
hereditary and does not affect his eye sight. We are
pleased that we finally got it officially cleared up! |

NEWCOMER! |
| I had a visit to Belgium, and came back
with our new girl. Her name is Trawricka Heart O Gold, and
we call her Nemea. She lives with Outi and Mikko close to
Turku.

|
Justus daughters Marjakarhun Fiini-Aurinko (Dooris) and
Marjakarhun Filmitähti (Kiira) had their debut in the official
classes during Easter. Both of them got lovely results, Dooris

Nice results to youngsters. On Saturday Eevert (E Evergreen) in
junior class EXC3. His sister Lyyli (E Enigma) came all the way
from Kajaani, and did great! She got junior EXC1 and was 4th
best bitch! Congratulations to Riitta & Janne and Taija & Jukka!
Judge was Mr. John Thirlwell, GB. On Sunday it was Rosa The
Dachshunds turn, and without coat and being too thin, she still

official shows in here. It was a great start, as he got junior
EXC2 and was 4th best male with res-CC! Well done Riitta and
Janne! Judge was Anja Puumala.
