Xantia Activa V6 against VW Golf V6 4Motion

Swedish car magazine Teknikens Värld tested two cars in swedish rally cross track. The purpose of this test was to find out which car of these two is the most fun and fast to drive. The tested cars were Xantia V6 Activa (140 kW) and VW Golf V6 4Motion (150 kW). 4Motion is Volkswagens way to say four-wheel drive. As we know Xantia Activa is front wheel drived.

Even if Volkswagen have more power and four-wheel drive, the tester drove with Xantia six (6) seconds faster trought 2 530m long race track than with VW. Six seconds is eternity in such a short track like this.

The picture above really shows the difference of these two cars. Xantia Activa is the fastest car that Teknikens Värld have ever tested like this. When other cars spins, Activa is easy to drive throught cones. Only place where VW is faster than Xantia is at gravel.
